UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation working specifically for children. We work with local communities and governments in 155 countries, areas and territories, to provide emergency relief and run long-term development programmes in areas such as health, education and child protection. Our global reach allows us to share knowledge across borders while our local presence - almost 85 per cent of UNICEF staff work in developing countries - means we can deliver assistance where it is needed most. UNICEF upholds the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and works to hold the international community responsible for their promises to children. All of UNICEF’s programmes are entirely dependent on voluntary contributions. UNICEF UK raises funds for these programmes through donations, the sale of cards and gifts, partnerships with companies and special events. |

A big thank you to Pete at IPS who generously donated considerable time in the repair and manufacture of new metal work on PN 6583. IPS undertook the manufacture of a replacement scuttle tank (made in Stainless Steel) and an extra rear fuel tank, the manufacture of extra tool storage under the floor and welding up and strengthening the aluminium body that had suffered quite extensive damage in VSCC and MCC trials. IPS was formed to undertake both fabrication and engineering works, using all types of metal, but in particular we specialize in the fabrication of Stainless Steel. IPS undertake various types of work, including automotive, marine and architectural. We have designed and developed many items, such as exhaust systems for cars and bikes, handrailing for swimming pools and boats. We can produce either 'one off's' or batches, we are very flexible, in both our design and manufacture and will undertake any project no matter how big, or small, and provide a first class service at a competitive price.
